Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) certification is the
completion of one comprehensive certification exam. HFMA offers an extremely
large number of certification tests to the people who want to obtain the
certifications that it offers, and taking and passing any one test out of all
of them will be enough for a person to meet this particular prerequisite.
A valid HFMA membership
Not every person who wants to
obtain the CHFP, HFMA Certified
Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) certification can go on to do so.
Only those who hold current and valid HFMA memberships can earn this
certification, which is the reason why the possession of a valid and current
HFMA membership is a prerequisite for obtaining this certification.
A financial degree
If a person wants to become a
certified professional in the healthcare financial field, then he must hold a
financial degree. People who do not hold financial degrees are rejected by HFMA

certification will be declined by HFMA. In addition, a small amount of
experience will not be sufficient in this case, a person needs to have a
